Finance Assistant

Blair West is supporting a North East based logistics company in their search for a finance assistant.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is at the start of their finance career to join an established team who support a broad range of business functions. It is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of the finance function in a business that’s keen to find a long standing member of their team.

The opportunity:

• To provide support and assistance to the wider finance team.
• Assist in the monthly production of P&L’s.
• Support with payroll.
• Assist with credit control and cash collection.
• Assisting with sales ledger and purchase ledger.
• Preparing and submitting tax returns as and when required.
• Assisting in the production of forecasts and annual budgets where required.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

• Started an AAT qualification.
• Experience within a finance department.
• The willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills and you work well in a team.
• Excellent IT skills.
